This piece has been inspirated from two 19th Century Beauvais tapestries. One of these tapestries is the "Vase with flowers and fruits", which is today in the Orsay museum. Woven in 1873, this part was itself a copy of a painting of Monnoyer. The border is from a Chabal-Dussurgey and Godefroy 's draw.
