This tapestry is a reproduction of an original tapestry by William Morris. Indeed, this artist was passionate about tapestry and textiles, which led him to revive English weaving in the late 19th century. Today, originals can be found in the greatest museums around the world.
It is woven in cotton and is lined with an unbleached cotton canvas. A hanging loop and a certificate of authenticity “TISSAGE ART DE LYS” are located on the back of the tapestry.
