Tapestry Verdure Hautil

The Verdure Hautil tapestry, like the Verdure de Meudon tapestry, was inspired by verdure tapestries woven in the early 18th century at the Manufacture Royale de Beauvais. At the time, these wall hangings of fleurs-de-lis and coats-of-arms were intended to decorate royal or bourgeois homes. They were a special feature of Beauvais production.
Tapestry woven in a factory in northern France, Point De Loiselles. Like all tapestries on this site, the tapestry is lined and has a Certificate of Authenticity affixed to the back.
