Description

Based on an original tapestry by William Morris (English painter, 1836-1896) woven around 1890. The scene depicts the quest for the Unicorn by King Arthur’s twenty-four legendary Knights of the Round Table. The mythical unicorn symbolizes the most courageous knights who, after hanging their shields in the woods, set off in search of it.
