This cushion is a reproduction of a painting by Pablo Picasso dating from 1932. It depicts a portrait of Marie-Thérèse Walter, his young companion at the time, seated in an armchair, but in reality depicting an intense, colorful erotic scene. The cushion cover is woven in France, in the Pansu workshops, using the Jacquard process. To mark the 135th anniversary of the “Pansu” factory, these weavers have created a unique collection of cushions based on a selection of Picasso’s paintings. In agreement with the Succession Picasso, it was necessary to choose motifs that could be transposed from canvas to weave, while preserving the strength of the colors and the purity of the lines.
Zipped cover supplied without padding.
