Very fine representation of Picasso’s painting “Bacchanale, Chevreau et Spectateur”. This canvas was painted in 1959. Today, we offer this work as a high-end woven tapestry. This weaving is created in a factory in northern France on jacquard looms.
On the occasion of the 135th anniversary of the “Pansu” factory, we created a unique collection of tapestries based on a selection of Picasso paintings. In agreement with the Succession Picasso, it was necessary to choose motifs that could be transposed from canvas to weave, while preserving the strength of the colors and the purity of the lines.
