This tapestry, with its contemporary look, represents an extract from one of the six panels of the Angers Apocalypse Tapestry. This work was woven by Nicolas Bataille in the late 14th century. from cartoons by Hennequin de Bruges. The tapestry was destined for Duke Louis 1er d’Anjou.
The weaving workshop has ensured that the decor and colors are faithful to the original tapestry.
Woven in northern France, this tapestry is lined and comes with a certificate of authenticity on the back.
