Cushion cover woven on a Jacquard loom by a French manufacturer, Jules Pansu. Cushion cover based on the work of Pablo Picasso, in collaboration with the Fondation Picasso.
This original oil painting was produced in 1932. It depicts Marie-Thérèse Walker. Picasso met her when she was 17 and he was married to Olga Khokhlova, with whom he had a son. His secret relationship with Marie-Thérèse lasted 7 years. Picasso had a daughter with Marie-Thérèse, named Maya.
Zipped cover supplied without filling. Black cotton cushion back.
