Retour de chasse, Tapisserie Jules Pansu

"Point d'Halluin" weave - Tapisserie Jules Pansu - Medieval tapestries

Description

At the end of the sixteenth century, after the wars in Italy, the Renaissance disrupts the art of tapestry. It was then that the painting and tapestry association became a new art of aesthetics. With the austerity of the medieval time succeeds the Italian influence which appears clearly in this "Return of hunting". A lord returns to his domain that can be seen in the distance, accompanied by his touts: sense of composition, decor, perspective, border of fruits, flowers and birds ... This table decoration perfectly reflects the Renaissance time.

Each tapestry comes lined and ready to pose, with a Certificate of Authenticity on the back of the tapestry. Tapestry woven in the north of France on Jacquard loom.

Weaving with ""Point d'Halluin" weave" - 64% laine, 19% coton, 12% viscose, 5% polyester
