Pablo Picasso is one of those artists who no longer need to be introduced. A renowned figure in the Cubist and Surrealist art movements, the Spaniard had a nine-year love affair with the artist and photographer Theodora Markovitch, also known as Dora Maar.

As lover and muse of the famous painter, she was the inspiration for many of his works. Indeed, the relationship between Picasso and Dora Maar gave rise to a series of portraits featuring the young woman.
