This tapestry is woven after an early 15th century hanging. It shows a lady receiving a box from her page, in a setting of foliage and flowers, where a couple is walking towards the lady and the page. All the characters are dressed in Italian style, a fashion introduced in France after the conquest of Naples by Charles VIII in 1495.
The tapestry was woven in a factory in the North of France on a Jacquard loom. Lined tapestry with certificate of authenticity. Ready to be hung.
